Churches team up to bring Bible camps to the people
Two local churches are teaming up to bring a week of Bible-centered fun and education to Farmington-area parks thisweek. Bible Baptist Church and Crossroads Church will sponsor the weeklong 5-Day Club, a series of activities put on every summer by a national group called Child Evangelism Fellowship. Committee breaks ground on veterans' memorial
Farmington is officially on its way to the construction of a veterans' memorial. Members of the committee that has been planning the project, which will be located in Rambling River Park, turned ceremonial shovels of dirt at 2 p.m. Friday to get the project under way. The plan is to have construction of at least the first phase of the project completed by Memorial Day next year.
