Minnesota Congressman John Kline honored Farmington residents with Congressional Certificates of Special Recognition at the seventh annual “Star of the North” ceremony Monday at Kenwood Middle School in Lakeville. More than 400 people were in attendance for the ceremony.

The United States Department of State has changed its policies regarding records and passport services. Instead of one-stop shopping, the agency has changed its policy so the same staff aren’t processing birth and death records as wells as passports.
