It was a big enough disturbance that Phil had to sit down with police and review security video of the incident. Summer hockey, minus the skates offered in Farmington
A new hockey league is coming to Farmington this summer and no skates are required. Called simply ball hockey, the league is offered through Lakeville-based Dryland Hockey, Inc. It looks like a regular hockey game, but players are in tennis shoes and there is no ice. The game is played with a ball instead of a puck.

Baseball: Double doubleheaders for FHS
The Farmington baseball team was on both sides of a pair of doubleheader sweeps last week. The Tigers had their largest offensive output of the young season last Tuesday when they knocked off New Prague 13-2 and 5-2 at Memorial Park in New Prague. Two days later at Donaldson Park in Richfield, Holy Angels did more damage with the bats in a 4-3, 13-7 sweep.
