NTES students collect gifts for Toys for Town
’Tis the season for giving, and that was certainly not lost on North Trail Elementary School students. In just two weeks, the students at North Trail donated 401 toys for Farmington’s Toys for Town drive. Last week alone, they brought in more than 1,600 food items for the Farmington Food Shelf.

Boeckman Middle School holds Career Day event
With a fire truck, a police car, an ambulance and one of the Dakota County Mutual Aid Assistance Group armored trucks out front, it’s little wonder a few parents called Boeckman Middle School to make sure everything was all right Thursday afternoon. MVES makes $5,000 donation to the Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy victims
Even though a recent fundraiser was based on reading, Meadowview Elementary School students learned a new lesson about giving. On Friday, MVES principal Lisa Edwards presented a $5,000 check to Kristin Peters of the American Red Cross. The money was raised by students in November to help victims of Hurricane Sandy.
