That was the consensus reached during Monday’s Farmington City Council budget workshop, where council members were asked to identify $152,000 cuts to the 2013 budget.

A 26-year-old Farmington man has been charged with possessing and sharing pornographic images and videos involving children. Joshua Reger called the pornographic works “fascinating” in a complaint that details a police investigation that led to five felony counts of possessing child pornography.

Arik Reger is shaken up, but at least he’s alive after the house he was sleeping in caught fire Tuesday morning. The house sustained significant damage to the garage, roof and attic, but Reger and a pet dog and cat all made it out of the home alive, thanks to a complete stranger.
