They’re animated puffs of fur, all white except for the purple dye marking their shoulders, and for the past two decades they and their ancestors have been an increasingly important part of the Farmington pair’s life.

Churches team up to bring Bible camps to the people
Two local churches are teaming up to bring a week of Bible-centered fun and education to Farmington-area parks thisweek. Bible Baptist Church and Crossroads Church will sponsor the weeklong 5-Day Club, a series of activities put on every summer by a national group called Child Evangelism Fellowship. The group focuses on different cities around the country each year to provide their free camps.

Farmington has a new affordable housing option for senior citizens, and the units are filling up fast. The first 17 residents of the Vermillion River Crossings senior housing complex moved into their new homes last week, and more are scheduled to move in on June 19.
