Campus notes: U of M dean's list 
The following area students have made the dean’s list for the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus 2010 spring semester: Aleesha A Berg, Michael R Donnelly, Jessica A Gomez, Kelley M Hagerty, Patricia M Hamilton, Laura C Hughitt, Nathan R Kellen, Rachael Krause, Trey J Mewes, Michaella K Murphy, Grant G Schmidt, Anthony B Southorn, Kevin E Stern, and Nyssa J Towsley.Students on the list all achieved a grade point average of 3.66 or higher.

Campus notes: Winona State dean's list
Several Farmington students were named to the spring semester 2010 dean’s list at Winona State University. Students on the list include John Brady, Morgan Dannecker, Shane Ferrozzo, Brittany Loeffler, Kallee Oines, Jennifer Pilaczynski, Leanne Ricker and Caroline Witshorik. Students on the list must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better.

Campus notes: St. Thomas dean's list
Several Farmington sudents have been named to the University of St. Thomas 2010 spring semester dean’s list. Students must post grade point averages of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale to be named to the list. Students on the list include Jacqueline Burke, sophomore; Roxanne Desseyn, junior; Thomas Engrav, senior; Megan Esselman, junior; Stephen Hough, senior; Phillip McNamara, senior; Macie Schonning, senior; and Gabriela Testa, senior.

Kyle Kubitza and Paige Marschall, both of Farmington, were named to the dean’s list at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls for the spring semster. Students on the list have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale.

Campus notes: Brittany Kaldunski
Jake Charles Carlson was born July 28, 2010, at Regina Medical Center in Hastings to Tara and Joe Carlson of Farmington.
At birth, Jake weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces and was 21 inches long.
He is joined at home by his brother, Dillon.
Jake’s grandparents are Lin and Maureen Dillon of Hastings and Charlie and Lucy Carlson of Selden, N.Y.
Great grandparents are Eileen Schommer of Hastings, and Rodney and Leota Dillon of Hastings.

Micah Teisberg, daughter of Steven Teisberg of Plymouth and Kathy Jo Teisberg of Farmington, was named to the spring 2009-10 dean’s list at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato. Micah is a 2008 graduate of Farmington High School. In order to be named to the list, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or better.

Bashadu Gibe of Farmington was named to the spring semester president’s list at Dakota County Technical College. Bashadu is a student in the medical coding specialist program. The list recognizes students who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or better.

Campus notes: NDSU graduates
Jacob Michael Dannecker and Alexander Carrington Roorda, both of Farmington, graduated from North Dakota State University in spring, 2010. Jacob earned a bachelor of science in manufacturing engineering. Alexander earned a bachelor of science degree, with a major in mathematics education.

Tara Hedlund
Tara Hedlund of Hampton, has graduated with a Doctor of Education Degree (EdD) with a specialization in educational leadership from Northcentral University. Hedlund was among the 460 graduates from 11 countries that had their degrees conferred during the June 5, 2010 ceremony.

UW-Eau Claire dean’s list
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire has named 1,907 undergraduate students to its dean’s lists for the 2010 spring semester. Farmington students on the list and their majors include Kelli Johnson, nursing and health sciences; Jerame Kuyper, arts and sciences; and Ian Reese, business.

Megan Solheid, daughter of Barbara and Gary Solheid of Farmington, has been named to the dean’s list for the 2010 spring semester at the College of Saint Benedict. Solheid is a sophomore psychology major at CSB. To be included on the dean’s list, students must have a semester grade-point average of at least 3.80 or better.

Farmington students Ryan Heston, son of Shane and Julie Heston, and Nicholas Pranke, son of Norman Pranke, have been named to the spring semester dean’s list at Bethel University.
