The rest of the room, well, that’s kind of a work in progress. There are shelves that need assembling, toys that need organizing and an outdoor play area that looks a little lonely with just one small item for kids to play with.

Bugaloo’s, the six-year-old ice cream shop located at the corner of Third and Oak streets, has yet to return from its winter hiatus, and owner Stacey Schultz said the shop will not open unless she finds someone willing to buy the business.

Celts will take over at Farmington Eagles PressPass

The Farmington Eagles Club will get a new name, a new look and a whole new menu at the beginning of May. Celts, a restaurant and bar that started in Rosemount in 2001 and has expanded to locations in Hastings and Inver Grove Heights, will take over operations at the Farmington club at the end of April. Owner Brandon Barth received a liquor license for the new restaurant at a Monday night Farmington City Council meeting.

Prom event was a success Prom season in Farmington got off to a running start last weekend. There were 85 dresses sold cheap at a prom event held Friday through Sunday at downtown’s Grand Hall Studio. That has event organizer Michelle Overbey excited, but it’s only the beginning. Overbey, who owns downtown secondhand store Shidor, still has 150 dresses left to sell.
