Girls track and field: Irish, Tigers soak up the sun
The snow melted and the sun came out just long enough to get the Irish Girls Invitational track meet completed last Tuesday night at Irish Stadium.
Prior Lake won the meet with 165 1/2 points, followed by Eagan with 102 and third-place Rosemount with 66 1/2 points. Farmington was a close fourth with 58 1/2 points.

Girls track: Four top-fours land Tigers fourth
Farmington picked the perfect time to run its best three races of the season.
Following Nadia Lorencz’s second-place finish in the long jump on Friday, the Tigers ran season-best times in all three of their races on Saturday to secure the school’s best team finish — a fourth-place total of 34 points — at the Class 2A State Meet at Hamline University in St. Paul.
