Dakota Electric dealing with power outages
Dakota Electric Association has experienced outages due to the wet heavy snowstorm that moved through late Wednesday night into Thursday morning. The outages are mainly located in the eastern and southeastern part of the cooperative’s service territory. Locations affected are the areas near Hastings, Miesville, Red Wing, Welch, Castle Rock and surrounding areas.May 02, 2013

Task force agents find drugs in Farmington home during December search
Dakota County Drug Task Force agents found drugs, syringes and a “large sum of cash” when they searched a Farmington home shortly after Christmas.
