Kelly Jo Moeller of Farmington and Nicholas Robert Wagner of Hampton graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May. Moeller earned a bachelor of arts degree in German and history. Wagner earned a bachelor of arts in classical humanities. Wagner graduated with distinction.
Two Farmington residents graduated from the University of Wisconsin River Falls this spring. Valerie Fogolin earned a master of science degree in education, with a major in counseling. Vanessa Montanye received a bachelor of science ag, food and environmental science degree with a major in animal science.
Eric Oslund of Farmington and Daniel Jalbert of Hampton were named to the 2012 spring dean’s list at Bemidji State University. To earn a place on the dean’s list at Bemidji State University students must have a grade point average of 3.25 or better on a 4.0 scale.
Several Farmington students have been named to the dean’s list for spring semester at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus. Students on the list include Ashley M Mattei, Lauren M Maybee, Zachary K Neitzke, Ryan J Phillips, Grant G Schmidt, Riley M Seitz, Zackary T Stafford, Nyssa J Towsley, Tyler J Tracy, and Erin M Wynings. Russell Wustenberg, a vocal performance senior at Concordia College in Moorhead, will perform the lead role in “The Marriage of Figaro” in Salzburg,?Austria, with the Franco-American Vocal Academy’s international program as part of Salzburg’s Mozart Festival. A lyric baritone, Wustenberg was a Top Ten finalist in FAVA’s French Art Song Competition held at the University of Texas-Austin last winter. He was also named to the dean’s list at Concordia College for the spring 2012 semester. Wustenberg is the son of Dr. William and Wendy Wustenberg of Empire Township.
Alexa Sorensen of Farmington has been named to the dean’s list for the California Lutheran University dean’s list for spring semester. To qualify for the deans lists students must have a grade point average of 3.6 or better on a scale of 4.0.
Farmington resident Chance Bonar was named to the spring 2012 dean’s list at St. Olaf. The dean’s list recognizes students with a grade point average of 3.75 or better. He is an Ancient Studies and Religion major. Bonar is the son of Douglas and Laura Bonar.
