The champagne and cheese will be replaced by hot chocolate and Christmas cookies, but Dunn Bros. is gearing up for an art show opening Thursday night.
It’s not just any art show, either. This one features all local artists. All local, elementary school-aged artists, from Riverview Elementary School.

FES holds Minute to Win It contest for Read-a-Thon winners
Farmington Elementary School students raised approximately $8,200 during a two-week Read-a-Thon in November.?Students took pledges for the number of minutes they read, and those who read the most during the two-week period got to participate in a school assembly Nov. 30.

Computer geeks welcome at Riverview Elementary School
It’s okay to be a computer geek around Riverview Elementary School. In fact, there’s even a club for you.
Twice a month, about 20 fourth and fifth grade students meet in the computer labs after school for computer club. It’s a new club this year that has students teaching students, and students teaching adults, too.

Crazy critters teach valuable lessons at FES
There are kids in Dawn Slinger’s first grade class who may arguably be braver than their parents at times. Particularly, when it comes to handling snakes.
Because honestly, the kids in Slinger’s class are around snakes – and toads, geckos, tortoises and other “critters,” as she calls them – all day when they are at Farmington Elementary School.
