Gymnastics: Tired Tiger gymnasts fall to Northfield 
A stretch of four meets in nine days may have taken a bit of a tole on the Farmington gymnastics team.
The Tigers lost a close 141.35-140.875 contest to New Prague last Tuesday at the Instructional Services Center, then saw their team score drop to 136.65 in a nine-point loss to the defending Class 2A State champion Raiders Friday at Northfield.

Gymnasts score first-ever win over Irish 
The Farmington gymnastics team closed out the 2010 season by doing something it had never done before — beating Rosemount.
The Tigers got a pair of first-place finishes from Nadia Lorencz and Terra Klima while edging the Irish, 136.75-136.6 at Rosemount High School last Thursday night.

Gymnastics: Lorencz, Lord, Klima lead Tigers to second 
Some lineup changes helped Farmington’s gymnastics team top the 140-point mark for the first time this season.
Nadia Lorencz stepped in for the injured Erin Hickey and led the Tigers to a second-place score of 140.3 at Saturday’s Annandale Invite. Becker topped the eight-team field with a score of 143.4.

Gymnastics: Injury, illnesses can’t slow down Tigers at RW 
Injury and illnesses couldn’t keep the Farmington gymnastics team from winning its second consecutive meet Thursday night at Red Wing.
With Erin Hickey suffering from a sprained finger and Kathryn Beckett and Nadia Lorencz each under the weather, the Tigers still scored 136.675 points in a 12-point victory over the Wingers.

Gymnastics: Klima sixth at state in uneven parallel bars 
Farmington gymnast Terra Klima saved her best for last in her record-setting junior season.
Klima, competing in her first Class AA State Meet Saturday night at the University of Minnesota Sports Pavilion, broke her own school record with a score of 9.5 on the uneven parallel bars. The score earned her a sixth-place finish, which matched the finish of Farmington’s last state qualifier, current head coach Lynn Bauman, in 1993.
