Girls lacrosse: Century, Burnsville edge Tigers
A pair of closely-contested losses kept the Farmington girls lacrosse team winless last week. The Tigers couldn’t muster the offense to rally in a 7-5 loss to Rochester Century Friday night at Tiger Stadium. A day later the team put together a furious three-goal rally late to tie the score against Burnsville only to have the Blaze secure the victory with a goal in the final 30 seconds.By Matt Steichen , May 01, 2013
Girls track: Tigers productive at Hamline Elite
The Farmington girls track team sent five events to the Hamline Elite Meet Friday night in St. Paul and all five came away with top-10 finishes. Defending state 110 hurdles champion Nadia Lorencz placed third in the event in 15.53 seconds and added a fourth-place long jump of 16 feet, 9 1/4 inches and a ninth-place triple jump of 33 feet, 8 1/2 inches.By Matt Steichen , May 01, 2013
