A short-handed Farmington boys swimming and diving team opened the season with a third-place finish at Saturday’s seven-team Prior Lake Invitational. The host Lakers won the meet, outscoring runner-up Cretin-Derham Hall 478-392. Northfield won 8 of 12 events in a 97-89 victory over Farmington last Thursday at the Dodge Middle School pool. Swimming: O'Reilly wins four events as Tigers top Red Wing
The Farmington girls swimming and diving team had no trouble gliding by Red Wing in its Missota Conference season opener last Tuesday. Led by Kaitlyn O’Reilly’s four first-place finishes, the Tigers won nine of the meet’s 12 events in a 90-88 victory in Red Wing.
