Dakota County plans road construction, roundabout for Farmington
When the Farmington City Council gave its approval to a Dakota County 2013-17 capital improvement plan request Monday, council members affirmed the reconstruction of 195th Street from Flagstaff Avenue on the west, to Diamond Path on the east. Farmington City Council member Christy Jo Forgarty will advance to the general election in the race to become Dakota County Commissioner for District 1. Fogarty finished second in Tuesday’s primary election with 25.1 percent of the vote.
