The new Farmington boys cross country coach won’t be new at all to the distance runners who have competed for the track team over the last few years. Tigers prepare for conference meet with Shakopee Invite
Both the Farmington boys and girls cross country teams saw some good things while finishing in the middle of the pack at last Tuesday’s Shakopee Invitational. The boys finished sixth out of 11 teams, but tightened the time between their top five runners down to 1 minute, 18 seconds. Cross Country: Tiger teams second at New Prague
Farmington senior Elliot Fenske cut 23 seconds off last year's time and defended his meet title at Tuesday's New Prague Invitational. Fenske, who ran a 17:10 on the course last fall, outclassed the field with a 5,000-meter time of 16:47.
