Thank you to all who attended Warrior to Citizen’s third annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on Sunday. We had a great turn out of supporters and the volunteers (as usual) were hard at work and had a lot of fun.
Thank you! Two small words that mean so much.
Where to start?
It’s impossible to thank everyone around you who has come together for one main reason: to “support Kyle Malin and his family.” Kyle, in the Army since graduating from FHS in 2002, was on his fourth tour of duty. July 12, while on foot patrol in Afghanistan, he was severely injured when an IED exploded, taking both his legs and inflicting several other serious injuries.
Another Christmas has come and gone and the residents of Farmington should be proud of their generosity to those less fortunate. When I was promoted to chief I had no idea the monumental task ahead of me. Chief Siebenaler had started the Toys for Town program and ran it successfully for 18 years. This year was another year of economic roubles for some, which resulted in the program’s largest demand to date. It would be impossible for me to remember everyone who played a role, so I will tro to thank everyone this way.
As December 2008 nears the end and my four-year term as a council member comes to a close, I would like take this opportunity to sum up a few things.
