Farmington daycare provider charged in 2012 death of infant

Rebecca Lynn Graupmann of Farmington has been charged with two counts of manslaughter in the second degree and one count of endangerment of a child, one count of neglect of a child and interference with a death scene. The charges all relate to the death of 3-month-old Kaiden Robert Staebell. Graupmann was the child’s daycare provider.

The Farmington boys golf team turned in consistent scores to finish sixth in a pair of Missota Conference meets played back to back last week. Their scores were similar at each of the meets, but their coach’s perception of his team’s play varied from one meet to the next.

Third-seeded Owatonna swept No. 6 Farmington 7-0 in hot and windy conditions last Tuesday in the opening round of the Section 1AA team tournament. “The heat and wind were a terror, but we were able to keep them from frustrating us severely,” Farmington coach Jack Olwell said.
