Scott Matter benefit

There will be a beer bash benefit for Farmington High School graduate Scott Matter from 5 to 7 p.m. March 1 at Farmington Lanes. Matter, a 2007 FHS graduate, was diagnosed at the age of 27 with two brain tumors. The continued treatment has put a financial burden on Scott and his wife, Chrissy. The couple also has a 1-year-old daughter. The March 1 fundraiser will feature food and drink, raffles and a silent auction. For more information visit
