Lutefisk supper

Highview Christiania Lutheran Church will hold its annual Norwegian lutefisk supper Oct. 13. The menu will also include many popular Norwegian baked goods. Ham dinner

Faith Methodist Church will hold a ham dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 13. The church is located at 710 Eighth St.


Omelet breakfast

The Farmington Sons of the American Legion resume the monthly omelet breakfast fundrasiers this Sunday, Oct. 14, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, at Tailgaters (formerly the Farmington American Legion). The all-you-can-eat, build-your-own breakfast includes omelets, fruit, toast, cheesy potatoes, coffee and juice. All proceeds will go to the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 189 and their projects.


Haunted house

The Support our Troops Haunted House will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Oct. 12 and 13 at the Dakota County Fairgrounds 4-H building. The theme for this year's haunted house is Strangely Inhabited. For more information call Germaine Beyl at 651-460-6004 or email sothhouse@

Children ages 0-6 can hear fall stories and make a craft with Independent School District 192 Early Childhood Family Education from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 18 at the Dakota County Farmington Library. The library is located at 508 Third St.

Guitar Hero at the library

Teens can play Guitar Hero on the big screen at the Dakota County Farmington Library from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 18. The library is located at 508 Third St.

Ladies on the Loose happy hour

Market on Oak will offer snacks, refreshments and beverage and appetizer samples along with specials throughout the store from 5 until 8 p.m. Oct. 18. Women who show up in costume will receive an additional 10 percent off. Market on Oak is located at 331 Third St.
