Enjoy fun children's books in movie format from 10:30 to 11 a.m. May 24 at the Dakota County Farmington Library.

Late 4 Lunch will perform from 8 to 10 p.m. May 24 at Dunn Bros. Coffee in Farmington. Dunn Bros. is located at 20700 Chippendale Ave. W.


Memorial Day ceremonies

A Memorial Day ceremony will be held at the Farmington Lutheran Church cemetery in Eureka township at noon on May 26.

There will be a Memorial Day program at 2 p.m. May 26 at Castle Rock Valley Cemetery. There will be a special program celebrating 150 years of the cemetery. Castle Rock Valley Cemetery is located six miles south of Farmington on Alverno Ave.

Memorial Day ceremony

The Farmington American Legion Clifford Larson Post 189 and VFW?Sypal-Lundgren?Post 7662 will hold the annual Memorial Day ceremony at Corinthian Cemetery at 10 a.m. May 27.

Wii games

Play bowling, skiing, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and more from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. May 28 at Rambling River center, 325 Oak St. The program is presented in partnership with the Farmington Parks and Recreation Department.

Make and take: Button making

Create a button of wearable art with understated personal flair from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. May 30 at the Dakota County Farmington Library. This program is for ages 10 to 16. The library is located at 508 Third St.


There will be a spaghetti dinner and concert fundraiser at 6 p.m. May 31 for Farmington High School student Erin Canada. Canada has been selected to attend New York University's prestigious Tisch Summer Recorded Music Program this summer and is raising money to pay for the trip. The May 31 event will include dinner and a performance by Funktion Junction Motown and soul revue. The event will be held at Bogart's in Apple Valley.
