Farmington toddler falls from second story window Monday

A Farmington toddler was taken to a St. Paul hospital after falling from a second story townhome window Monday morning.

Farmington Fire/Rescue and police were called to at the 1100 block of Willow Tr., around 8:45 a.m. The child, a male toddler, had fallen approximately 12-14 feet, Farmington fire marshal John Powers said. He landed on the sidewalk below the window.

The child was transported to a St. Paul hospital by ALF Ambulance. There is no word on the extent of the boy's injuries.

She has earned Minnesota Newspaper Association awards in Investigative Reporting, Local News Coverage, Feature Photography and Column Writing.
