Farmington celebrates Homecoming

The Farmington community got into the Homecoming spirit Wednesday afternoon, lining downtown streets for the annual Homecoming parade and turning out in large numbers for Wednesday night's coronation of Homecoming royalty.

Mac Bassett and Morgan Cecchettini were this year's King and Queen, chosen from a court that also included Annie Grengs, Hannah Herrig, Sean McHenry, Emma Fournier, Brian Waldbillig, Chelsea Poirier, Anna Korbein, Bria Donnelly, Katie Aaron, Sydney Geiger, Kathryn Beckett, Gus Aldana, Spencer Kabran, Nick Varner, Godfrey Mpetey, Caleb Hakala, Stanley Buss and Ryan Giebel. 

Homecoming activities continue Thursday night with a Jam the Gym volleyball game against New Prague at 7 p.m., Flood the Fields soccer games against New Prague at 5 p.m. (girls) and 7 p.m. (boys) and a Crowd the Courts tennis match against Chanhassen at 4:15 p.m. 

The Tiger football team will take on New Prague at 7 p.m. Friday and the FHS Homecoming dance will take place from 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday.
