05/09/2008 12:00 AM The Farmington baseball team allowed a total of 27 runs in the three Missota Conference games it lost last week. Senior starting pitcher Eric Estes helped reverse that trend, if only for a game, by limiting Hutchinson to one run on four hits over seven innings in a 2-1 road victory Monday afternoon at Veteran's Memorial Field in Hutchinson.

04/29/2008 12:00 AM The Farmington baseball team came away with a win and a loss after a pair of 4-3 home games over the last week.
The Tigers played errorless defense and pounded out 15 hits Monday afternoon against Red Wing, but the Wingers scored the eventual winning run on a two-out triple in the top of the eighth inning. A two-out RBI double by Jared Rowan in the bottom of the seventh tied the game at 3-3 and forced extra innings, but Farmington left the bases loaded for the third time in the game. In all, coach Mike Winters' team left 14 runners on base in suffering their fifth loss of the season.
