Home foreclosures were down in 2009 in county
The number of home foreclosures showed a significant decrease in Dakota County in 2009. It is the first decrease in numbers since 2000, according to information released by the Dakota County Sheriff's Office. Whether that downward trend will continue in 2010 is not known.
