David A. Woller, age 48, of Farmington, died peacefully at home on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, at the Church of St. John Neumann, 4030 Pilot Knob Rd. at Deerwood Dr., Eagan. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Monday at J.S. Klecatsy & Sons, 651-454-9488, 1580 Century Pt. (Yankee Doodle at Coachman), Eagan, and also 1 hour prior to the service at church on Tuesday. Interment St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Owatonna on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.
Lorraine McGuire, age 84, of Mankato, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, at the Mayo Clinic Health System - Mankato. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato, with Fr. John Kunz officiating. Visitation will be from 9-10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Mankato. Mankato Mortuary is handling arrangements. Lorraine Mardell McGuire was born Feb. 19, 1927, to Elmer and Gina (Austinson) Blocker in Farmington, Minn.
Joseph LaVerne "Joe" Murphy, age 80, of Cannon Falls, died peacefully on Wednesday evening, Aug. 10, 2011, at the Regina Medical Center in Hastings. Joe was born on March 26, 1931, in Lakeville, the son of James E. and Gertrude (Streefland) Murphy. He graduated from Farmington High School in 1948 and went on to serve with the U.S Navy. He farmed for many years in Cannon Falls Township. He married Violet (Nielsen) Moss on Dec. 2, 1973, and she died on April 8, 1992. He later married Ruth (Alexander) Hauschildt in November 1993, and she died on Aug.
Philip William Palmer, age 42, of Farmington, passed away peacefully at his home on Aug. 8, 2011. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at South Twin Cities Church of Christ, 16120 Cedar Ave., Rosemount. Visitation from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Ave., Apple Valley, and 1 hour prior to the service at church. Interment: Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Graysville, Ohio.
Gladys J. Petrofske (nee Uhl), age 85, of Farmington, passed away Aug. 9, 2011. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Farmington. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment: Pleasant View Cemetery, Burnsville, Minn. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church.
Mary L. Hatfield, age 62, of Farmington, passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by loved ones, on Aug. 4, 2011. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8, at Valley Christian Church, 17297 Glacier Way, Rosemount, Minn. Gathering of family and friends from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at White Funeral Home, 901 3rd St., Farmington, and also 1 hour prior to service at church.
Rose Mary McClintock, 84, of Bonita Springs, Fla., died Monday, Aug. 1, 2011. Formerly of Farmington, Minn., she had been a Bonita resident for the last 15 years. She was born April 2, 1927, in Vermillion, Minn., the daughter of Vincent J. and Catherine (nee Wagner) Rother. She was the secretary to the Farmington Elementary School principal for 20 years and loved every child and teacher she met. Rose is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Merle H. McClintock; her devoted daughter and grandson, Cheryl (the late David) Sandberg of Bonita Springs and Eric V.
Mary C. Chandler died July 31, 2011. Funeral service was held Aug. 2 at White Funeral Home, Farmington. Interment, Castle Rock Valley Cemetery.

Michelle Mary (Nicklay) Shaffer, age 39, of Farmington, died of breast cancer on July 28, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, at the Church of St. Joseph, 13900 Biscayne Ave W., Rosemount, with visitation 2 hours prior. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1, at the Church of St. Joseph. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights. In lieu of flowers, an education fund for Michelle's children has been established in her memory entitled the "Michelle M. Shaffer" Fund at US Bank, 15025 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley, Minn.
