William H. George, age 57, of Farmington, died on July 1, 2010. Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, at Faith United Methodist Church, 710 8th St., Farmington. Timothy Ryan Autey, age 6, of Farmington, son of Ted and Dawn Autey, passed away on June 30, 2010, at his home, surrounded by his family, after an 11 month courageous battle with cancer. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, at Grace Lutheran Church, 7800 W. C.R. 42, Apple Valley, Minn. John P. Sauber Jr., age 57, of Lakeville, passed away suddenly on June 20, 2010. Preceded in death by father, Jack. Survived by loving wife of 33 years, Kathy; children, Kristin, Kim and John III; mother, Eileen Sauber; brothers, George, Jerry (Anne) and Bill (Shirley) Sauber; sisters, Peggy (Bob) Fetter, Carol (Bob) Pilcher, Mary (Steve) Duro and Diane (Craig) Wiggert; also by many other loving nieces, nephews and friends. John was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and devoted many hours to church service.
Jerome Francis Judge, age 85, a lifelong resident of Cannon Falls, died on Wednesday, June 16, at his residence. Jerome was born on April 1, 1925, in Cannon Falls, the son of Francis J. and Margaret A. (Farrell) Judge. He graduated from the Cannon Falls High School in 1943. He served with the Merchant Marines from 1943 until 1951. He was then drafted in to the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged on March 8, 1953. Jerome married Marguerite J. Swenson on Oct. 4, 1957, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Goodhue.
Thomas M. "Tom" Guerber, age 60, of Farmington, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on June 6, 2010, after a two year battle with cancer. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 22120 Denmark Ave., Farmington, with visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Kenneth Edward Kuchera, age 63, of Farmington, 38 year retired veteran of the Farmington Fire Dept., died peacefully on June 6, 2010. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 11, at Farmington Lutheran Church, 20600 Akin Rd. Ruth Olive Collier, age 74, of Rosemount, Minn., went to be with the Lord on May 27, 2010. Ruth was born August 27, 1935, in Boyd, Minn., to Olaf and Ruby (Lindblad) Flaa. She was baptized and confirmed at the Boyd Lutheran Church.
Mark Joseph Olszewski, age 63, of Farmington, formerly of N.E. Minneapolis, passed away on May 26, 2010. Marjorie Joyce Lindblad, age 90, of Farmington, passed away on May 24, 2010. Funeral service was Thursday, May 27, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 600 Walnut St., Farmington, Minn., with visitation Wednesday at White Funeral Home, Farmington, and prior to the service at church. Interment, Corinthian Cemetery.
Ray was born on July 27, 1912, near Revillo, S.D. He died on Dec. 27, 2009, at St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He lived in South Dakota until the hard times came. They moved to Farmington, Minn. On June 31, 1944, he married Verona Cords of Randolph, Minn. In 2005, Ray and Verona moved to Utah to live with their only child, Sharon, and her family. Ray loved to fish, golf, tell jokes, play cards, go to dances, and shake dice for coffee with friends every weekday morning. Ray had many jobs during his life. He started life as a farmer.
