Edna A. Hoffman, age 93, of Farmington, passed away Feb. 23, 2011, at Valley View Nursing Home in Houston, Minn. A funeral service to celebrate Edna's life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28, at Farmington Lutheran Church, 20600 Akin Rd., Farmington, with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service at church. Craig Howard Scott, age 52, of Rosemount, and formerly of Cannon Falls, died unexpectedly of heart complications on Wednesday evening, Feb. 16, 2011, at the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown, Texas, while on a racing trip with his son Dustin. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, at First English Lutheran Church, 511 W. Belle St., Cannon Falls, with Pastor Phillip Ruud officiating. Interment will follow at the Cannon Falls Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls.
Rose Pauline Beyer, age 97, of Farmington, passed away peacefully on Feb. 15, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 21, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 22120 Denmark Ave., Farmington, with visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Interment church cemetery. Donald D. Davison, age 81, of Farmington, passed away Feb. 7, 2011, after suffering a stroke while vacationing in Corpus Christi, Texas. A celebration of his life and love will be held from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20 at the American Legion in Farmington (10 N. 8th St., Hwy 3, Farmington), service at 4 p.m.
Mary Viskocil, age 87, of Farmington, Minn., passed away on Feb. 15, 2011. Mary graduated from Montgomery High School. She worked at the Green Giant Company and later for the president of the Nutting Truck Company in Faribault.

Harold G. "Buck" Linville, age 60, of Lakeville, Minn., passed away on Feb. 9, 2011. Loving husband, dad, grandpa, and uncle. Loved golfing, fishing, and his friends. An extremely intelligent man whose passion was reading. Diana Kaye Rasmussen, age 63, of Farmington, passed away Feb. 7, 2011, after a 3-1/2-year battle with cancer. Funeral service 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11, at Farmington Lutheran Church, 20600 Akin Rd., Farmington, with visitation on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the White Funeral Home, 901 3rd St., and one hour prior to service at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Vernon G. Dahl, loving husband, father, and proud grandpa, passed away peacefully on Feb. 1, 2011. Vernon was born on March 21, 1925, in Roseau, Minn., to parents Hjalmar and Laura Dahl. He grew up on a dairy farm in northern Minnesota, served his country in Korea at age 25, and upon returning from service married Lenore G. Eklund. They were blessed with 49 years together.
Arnold L. Nelson took his final flight on Jan. 29, 2011, finally free from the ravages of diabetes and its consequences.
