Downtown Dazzle Day returns to Farmington

The season’s first lingering snowfall is arriving just in time for downtown Farmington’s annual celebration of an old-fashioned Christmas.

The Farmington Business Association’s Dazzle Day will take place Saturday with specials at downtown businesses, a cookie and cocoa tent sponsored by Family Vision Clinic and Farmington Bakery and the lighting of the community tree at the corner of Second and Oak streets.

The community celebration will also feature rides in a horse-drawn carriage from 4 to 7 and visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus at businesses around town. Santa will be at the Farmington VFW from 1 to 3 p.m. Kids can share their wish lists and get their pictures taken.

The tree lighting will take place at 5:30 p.m.
