Vermillion Township: Amending Zoning Ordinances
Monday, December 24, 2018 - 11:23pm
AN ORDINANCE OF VERMILLION TOWNSHIP,
DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA,
AMENDING MULTIPLE SECTIONS OF THE
VERMILLION TOWNSHIP ZONING ORDINANCE
Dated: December 18, 2018
The Vermillion Town Board has adopted a zoning ordinance amendment amending multiple sections of the Vermillion Township zoning ordinance and has determined that publication of the title and a summary of the ordinance amendment would clearly inform the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance.
The ordinance amendment provides that in the Conservation Zoning District one or more detached
garages, storage buildings or agricultural structures having collective square footage not exceeding 4,000 square feet on parcels having an existing Single-Family Dwelling are allowed as a conditional use. In addition, the language of Section 206 is corrected to provide that the Shoreland Overlay District applies to properties within 300 feet of the shoreland of public waters and the definition of Garage is added to Section 701.
The foregoing is a summary of the identified ordinance amendment and notice is hereby given that a printed copy of the entire ordinance amendment is available for inspection by any person during regular office hours at the Office of the Town Clerk and at the Dakota County Law Library, Dakota County Government Center, Hastings, Minnesota.
