Farmington KCs raise $1,250 during Chili Bingo

FARMINGTON — The Farmington Knights of Columbus Council 2400 raised more than $1,250 for local charitable efforts during the service organization's fourth annual Chili Bingo and Chili Cook-Off Contest.

The event, which took place Saturday, Jan. 27, at the Church of St. Michael in Farmington, saw cash prizes for the winners of the Chili Cook-Off Context. First place and $50 went to Phil Hanson. Second place and $25 went to Brent McGuff. Third place and $10 went to Todd Jennings.

This year's judges were Farmington Mayor Todd Larson, Farmington Fire Chief Justin Elvestad, Farmington School Board member Melissa Sauser, and Farmington Knights of Columbus Past Grand Knight Vince Olsen. There were 14 contestants in this year's contest. Proceeds from the event will go towards funding local charitable efforts.
