Farmington Post Office relocation meeting set for March 26
FARMINGTON — The U.S. Postal Service is hosting a public notification meeting on relocating the Farmington Post Office, currently located at 216 Oak St., at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at City Hall, 430 Third St.
In consideration is relocating retail service to the new carrier annex facility located at 113 Elm St. This will allow the Postal Service to use its resources more efficiently and reduce costs.
The Postal Service will stay at its current location until all necessary preparations are completed. The address and PO Box numbers will not change. Postal Service representatives will present the proposal for the relocation during the meeting.
Written comments on the proposal will be accepted until April 25, and may be submitted to:
