Virginia Ann (Ginny) Larson age 78 died peacefully Saturday December 16, 2017 at her home in rural Cannon Falls, surrounded by her family and close friends.

Ginny was born February 21, 1939 in Minneapolis to Loren and Margaret (Musil) Sandin. She was their only child. She married John (Bill) Larson on July 2, 1960 and lived in various areas of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Blaine and Inver Grove Heights. In 1978 she moved with her family to Cannon Falls, Minnesota.

She was active in her parish churches of St. Pius V in Cannon Falls, Minnesota and Church of St. Michael in Farmington, Minnesota as teacher of children and a member of other service groups such as Bible studies and prayer shall making. She worked at various jobs throughout her life (waitressing, Gemini-20 years, Family Fare -10 years). She found her passion working with memory care people at Twin Rivers Senior Campus in Cannon Falls, Minnesota. She will be remembered as someone with a kind heart, terrific sense of humor and great faith.

She is survived by her husband, John (Bill) Larson; daughters, Janice Borg and Sally Landry (Dan) of Cannon Falls, Carol Paden (Richard)of Manhattan Beach, CA, Doug Larson (Kris Heinzen) of St Cloud and Patrick Larson of Northfield; grandchildren, Christine, Elizabeth, Alicia, Katie, Leah, Babs, Gina, Kevin, Clara, Noelle, Gloria, and 16 great grandchildren; Mike Sandin, her adopted brother and a long lost cousin that she considers her only sister, Diane Erkens, also by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the Church of St. Michael, 22120 Denmark Ave., Farmington Minnesota, Wednesday evening, December 20, 2017, from 5:00PM to 8:00PM and Mass at 11:00 AM on Thursday December 21, 2017. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions will be used to provide fruit baskets to those in need.
