Arnold Ratzlaff, 85
Arnold Ratzlaff, age 85, of Elk River, formerly of Farmington, proud Korean War Veteran, passed away Sept. 12.
Preceded in death by his siblings, Harold Ratzlaff, Clarence (Pat) Ratzlaff, Marion (Ralph) Strese, Alvina (LaVern) Haverland, Hazel (Harry) Cederblade, and Sylvia (Leo) (Elmer) Tousignant Perron; brother-in-law, Al Johnson; and Arnold's first wife, Eleanor.
Survived by his wife, Bernette; children, Kim (Tom) Zensen, Jerry (Connie Empey), Randy (Chris), and Sandy (Jeff) Thelen; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise (Wayne) Wenzel and Gladys Johnson; sister-in-law, Audrey Ratzlaff; also by other loving relatives and friends including six stepchildren.
Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at Farmington Lutheran Church 20600 Akin Rd., Farmington. Visitation from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, at White Funeral Home, 901 3rd St., Farmington and one hour prior to the service at church from 9-10 a.m. Interment: Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials will be forwarded by the family to various veterans charities.
